Caribbean Themed Appetizer

Chongqing --> Wuhan --> Shanghai

Chongqing, eine Stadt der Huegel. Hier ist es ziemlich schwierig zwischen den ganzen Hochhaeusern, Strassen und Gaengen in und um die Haeuser noch zu , Guess where long ago time was the original ground and often where one is currently doing is even. And knowing this is the up and down quite important if you do not want everything zuruckkraxeln again. A quick glance from the pavement over the knee-high limit then tells you that you should not be stumbling in the wrong direction (otherwise it falls many floors very roughly). Our original idea was

dive from here into the 3 Yangtze Gorges and drive up to the 3 Gorges Dam. Since the weather was not great visibility, expect temperatures well above freezing and sunshine left, we have decided several times more favorable for the train ride.
But these consisted of hundreds of tunnels und Bruecken (20 h).

mal wieder 20 Stunden Zugfahrt ;-)

How to send a postcard ;-)

Aber schon einen Tag nach unserer Ankunft, wurde alles better and the temperatures are during the day risen to 10 degrees (I think). There is enough sun to all cases, at least as long as it is light and hardly smog.
The city makes a good impression on me and our hotel room is for price / performance probably almost the best thing that happened to us is now in a big city. A sincere thanks to Lei.

A quick visit to the Expo

course we have it we can not take to enjoy a piece of home, which is at does not give us. A trip on the Transrapid and 430 km / h. The journey takes only 7 minutes, but in any case very impressive. Here is a brief excerpt:
